This 13 year old patient presented with significant crowding and ectopic erupted canines. The resolution of crowding and bite correction was achieved with fixed appliances.
An adolescent patient presented with jaw growth discrepancy. The overlay of the radiographs shows the extent of protrusion and the resultant correction with a harmonious esthetic outcome.
An example of a patient with missing maxillary lateral incisors from birth (congenital). Treatment involved idealizing the position of the canines and opening spaces for the missing teeth. The missing teeth were replaced with restorations immediately after braces.
This case illustrates a significant jaw discrepancy in all dimensions. The patient was treated with a combination of orthodontic treatment and orthognathic surgery to idealize function and facial esthetics.
This adult patient presents with a mutilated dentition with severe crowding, impactions, and deviation of upper and lower midlines. Orthodontic treatment idealized his occlusion, eliminated crowding and aligned the midline of the teeth with the face to achieve excellent esthetics and function.
A deep bite is a type of occlusion where the upper teeth overlap the lower teeth completely. This can be very detrimental to the long term health of the dentition. Orthodontic treatment corrected the deep bite and the position of the teeth in 14 months.
This case is the opposite of the Case 6. A situation of an open bite where there is no contact in the front teeth resulting in lack of balance in the bite and long term wear and breakdown of the back/ posterior teeth. Treatment improved esthetics and bite to even the contacts all around in the occlusion.
